Founded in 2007, the MSGF program has graduated over 600 alumni who hold diverse roles across the global finance industry. Our alumni community spans more than 50 countries, creating a valuable professional network for all members.
Upon completing the MSGF program, graduates become alumni of both HKUST and NYU. This dual affiliation grants access to a wide array of events, benefits, and networking resources from both institutions.
HKUST Business School Alumni Network
The alumni of HKUST Business School exemplify the School's mission through their positive impact on society and their leadership roles within various industries.
The alumni community has expanded to over 32,000 graduates from its business programs, representing a diverse talent pool with members from more than 90 nationalities and a wide range of professional backgrounds. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a global mindset, these alumni strengthen the sense of pride and community that defines HKUST Business School.

NYU Stern School of Business Alumni Network
The NYU Stern experience is a global one. Not only do our students and alumni come from diverse international backgrounds, we also believe in harnessing the energy of global hubs allowing them to expand their international network of valuable peers and contacts.
With nearly 110,000 NYU Stern alumni living and working in 138 countries, there is hardly a major industry anywhere that does not include Stern graduates in its ranks. NYU Stern alumni constitute a global community, providing advice and networking opportunities to fellow alumni and current students.
Referral Policy
The MSGF program has long been committed to providing unparalleled learning experiences for finance executives worldwide, establishing the program as a global leader in finance education. As a joint initiative of the HKUST Business School and NYU Stern School of Business, we encourage HKUST and NYU alumni to introduce the MSGF program to qualified candidates who would benefit from this transformative learning experience.

For alumni-referred candidates
We will schedule a one-on-one call to provide a program overview and guide them through the application process. Additionally, we will waive the USD $150 application fee and offer an expedited review of their application.
As a token of appreciation for alumni support, we are pleased to offer the following benefits to those who refer candidates that enroll in the Class of 2025:

Complimentary seats (waiver of the registration fee) for up to 2 NYU Stern Executive Education courses*, applicable to both in-person and online offerings. [For MSGF alumni only]

An extra 15% discount for up to 2 HKUST Executive Education courses*, in addition to the existing HKUST alumni discounts. [For both HKUST and NYU alumni, including MSGF alumni]
*Courses are subject to availability and are offered at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.
