Admission Requirements

The HKUST-NYU Master of Science in Global Finance (MSGF) is a highly selective program designed for experienced finance professionals. To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Academic Background

A bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institution. While there is no specific major requirement, a strong foundation in quantitative subjects is highly recommended.

Work Experience

Applicants are expected to have a minimum of five years of full-time professional experience. Candidates with significant career achievements and leadership potential are preferred.

Language Proficiency

As the program is conducted in English, applicants whose first language is not English or whose bachelor’s degree was obtained from an institution where English is not the medium of instruction must demonstrate English proficiency through TOEFL or IELTS scores.
